street of time

I took this shot in Terrasson whilst wandering around the little streets there. I liked the houses in the old part of the town, and particularly the difference between the style of houses in this shot. The one on the left fairly old and in need of repair, the one the right rendered and in good condition.
I'm not keen on the grey barriers in the bottom left corner, but they were unavoidable to get the composition I wanted. The nearly midday light made it a bit difficult to shoot because of the shadows that were cast over one side of the street, so I used HDR to even out the colours and avoid having half the shot underexposed.
